Biography

Dr. Vittorio Oteri is a medical doctor and Endocrinology resident at the University of Catania, working at the Endocrinology Section of the Garibaldi-Nesima Hospital in Catania, Italy. He completed his medical degree studies at the University of Catania, and a second-level master’s degree in “Medical, surgical and rehabilitative management of the diabetic foot and leadership of the multidisciplinary team” at University of Roma Tor Vergata. His main research interests are focused on diabetic foot and diabetes technologies. He recently led several research projects as the first author and/or project coordinator on various topics in the Endocrinology field. His research activity has led to numerous peer-reviewed article publications, conference presentations, and travel grants. He is also a certified sonographer with experience in peripheral vascular, neck, and abdominal ultrasound. Finally, he is a medical-education enthusiast.
